Berwick Village Highlights – Part 207/12/2021
Continuing on from last month’s blog featuring retail and business along High Street in Berwick Village, we have another two local businesses that can become your go-to, from a florist and giftware store to boutique ladies’ fashion and accessories.
Bunty and Fuzz Florist
Located in a beautiful heritage-listed building along the High Street, Bunty and Fuzz are a boutique florist and gift emporium run by Sharon – a second-generation Irish florist, who opened her store at the start of the year. Moving from her home studio to a permanent bigger space, she brings her passion and presence to the main row of shops and adds another retail offering to Berwick.
With an elegant and modern style with influences from Ireland, UK and Europe, she gets her fresh flowers from local growers. Sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience, she holds workshops and hobby classes privately and at her “Berwick School of Floristry” that operates inside her shop.
From stunning fresh florals delivered daily, dried arrangements and a carefully curated selection of giftware, art, yarn, homeware and more, Bunty and Fuzz is a great new addition to Berwick Village.
Visit the website and follow their Instagram page for the latest workshops and classes.
Little Black Bag Boutique and Basic Store
Starting in 2014, Little Black Bag Boutique has grown a long way since they first opened in Berwick, and now has a second outlet a few stores down that specialises in loungewear at Basic Store.
With both stores featuring Australian-owned brands, as local as possible with small boutique brands, the store has kept its niche in providing stylish and on-trend fashion wear and accessories, providing everything from bags to shoes, as well as scarves and jewellery. They also offer a range of vegan leather for their handbags, wallets and shoes.
With the growth of the local community in recent years, the store has catered to the demands of shoppers with a full online store.
